The New York State SBDC collects information to the What's Your Signage? Web site by way of its Small Business Profile page, which is information volunteered by the user.
This information is used to enable the Web site to locate the member manufacturers of the International Sign Association (ISA) nearest you.The New York State SBDC does not automatically collect user information from the Internet. Where "cookies" have been programmed into the site, its purpose is strictly to identify a pre-existing user in the What's Your Signage? database.
Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers and/or e-mail addresses will only be contacted by those ISA member companies to whom a Small Business Profile has been sent.We do not partner with or have special relationships with any Web marketing or sales companies. Your volunteered information is private and shall not be supplied to such firms.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice (most likely in the form of user satisfaction surveys). If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.
