International Sign Association (ISA)
In today's competitive environment, effective on-premise signage is a critical
component of a business' success. Signs can vary from a small doorplate sign to
large neon creations as seen in Las Vegas or New York City.
The International
Sign Association (ISA) was founded in 1944 as the National Electric
Sign Association (NESA) to represent manufacturers, users and suppliers of
on-premise signs and sign products. Its members represent the industry at all
levels, from around the world.
In addition to representing the sign industry to improve relevant legislation
and regulations, the ISA also supports research concerning the economic value
of signage. It also conducts trade shows to provide a vehicle for vendors to
exhibit their offerings to the sign industry, and appears regularly at
symposiums to provide education to those interested in learning more about the
sign industry.
