Find out how the NYS SBDC helps small businesses sell to the government

The Federal Marketplace
This is a one-stop source of information to assist businesses in selling products and services to the federal government.

SBA's Small and Disadvantaged Business Program
Apply for small disadvantaged business (SDB) certification through the SBA at this site. This certification makes business owners eligible for certain government procurement preference programs. Designated groups such as African Americans, Native Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Asian Americans are presumed to be socially and economically disadvantaged. Others, however, not in these designated groups must prove their disadvantage based on other factors such as gender or physical handicap.

Pro-net
An online, interactive, electronic gateway of procurement information - for and about small businesses. The SBA's Procurement Marketing and Access Network (PRO-net) makes small business profiles available to federal, state, and local government contracting officers, as well as to private-sector businesses looking for contractors, subcontractors, teaming arrangements or partnerships.

Women's Procurement Program
Pursuant to Executive Order 13157 of May 23, 2000, the U.S. Small Business Administration established the position of Assistant Administrator for Women’s Procurement in the Office of Government Contracting. The purpose of this action was to increase federal contracting opportunities for women-owned small business (WOSB), and to increase the number of WOSB that successfully compete in the federal marketplace.

Contract Assistance for Women Business Owners (CAWBO)

WomenBiz - a gateway for women-owned businesses selling to the Federal government.
