36 Central New York projects recommended for $27 million in state funding

The Central New York Regional Economic Development Council recommended a $1.6 million grant to help Onondaga SBDC client Corso's Cookies build an $8 million manufacturing plant on the Onondaga Community College campus as part of the START-UP NY program.

Pawelski Farms receives Small Business Recovery Program grant

"Chris and Eve Pawelski, owners of the fourth-generation Pawelski Farms in Goshen, experienced significant losses as a result of Irene and Lee. They contacted Vanessa Primus, storm recovery regional coordinator for the Mid-Hudson, who operates out of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce Business Center in Montgomery. Primus is also a certified business advisor and procurement specialist for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC)."
